About the Role

We have a permanent, full-time opportunity available for a Field Service Technician to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria.

**Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will**:

- Carry out mechanical inspections, servicing and repairs in the field in accordance with manufactures & OHS requirements
- Ensure jobs are logged in our service module and all paperwork is completed daily
- Monitor and record parts usage
- Ensure Onsite and client Occupational Health and Safety requirements, Safe Operating Procedures and Safe Operating Practices are adhered to at all times

**To succeed in this challenging role, you will have**:

- A trade qualification: mechanical, hydraulics, fitter or auto electrical
- Strong diagnostic, fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Current driver's licence
- Exceptional communication skills with a customer service focus
- A "can do" attitude to provide high-quality service to our clients
- A commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised
- Rental/Hire Industry experience (not essential but highly regarded)
- Forklift, EWP or OHS cards/licences (not essential but highly regarded)
