Reporting to the General Manager City Sustainability and Strategy, this critical role will help achieve safer community outcomes for residents and visitors to the City, by effectively leading the local laws, school crossings, parking, environmental health, animal management and planning and construction enforcement teams. Council requires a collaborative and dynamic leader with high EQ and passion for being a change agent to take on this exciting role. With the community at the forefront of everything the City works for, and the communitys wellbeing and safety being key to the successfully delivery of programs, the Manager Parking and Compliance plays a key role in shaping and delivering on the communitys vision.

Qualifications and requirements
The successful candidate will be a politically astute leader with a contemporary leadership style. You will bring proven experience driving high performing and engaged teams in a community, regulatory services or related portfolio. You have experience in understanding the legislative requirements of Council and bring a pragmatic approach to the implementation and application of these. As a strategic thinker, you bring an ability to streamline processes and systems, creating contemporary work practices that support a growing and changing municipality. The successful candidate will be innovative in their thinking and demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence with an ability to inspire and enhance capability and create a culture of customer centricity, which fosters positive and meaningful community engagement.
