Working on livestock land, as a Farm Hand you play a key role in supporting our client's sheep shearing farm. Ensuring animals are treated humanely at all times, you are responsible for their food and water, health, barn and pet environment along with sanitation and record keeping.

Duties can include (but not limited to):

- Mustering the sheep
- Keeping the sheep clean at all times
- Assist in sheep dipping where required
- Assist in the movement of the hay bales
- Assist other sections as required by the shearers and the farm manager
- Follow all company production policies

For this role, you will be required to work 40 - 60 hours per week for approximately 2 months during the shearing season.

**Your Skills & Experience**

A team player who can read conditions and identify potential animal changes and hazards, you need to be an excellent communicator who can easily follow instructions and be committed to a culture of safety for yourself, your team-mates and animals at all times.

To be considered for the position, it is important you can address the following criteria:

- Knowledge of WHS and QA policies and procedures
- Dedicated to a culture of safety at all times
- Experience in intensive animal systems (highly regarded)
