As our Assistant Club Manager, you won't just help run a gym — you'll empower members and support a team that drives success every day.
Responsibilities
Assist the Club Manager in steering the daily operations of the sales and fitness teams
Oversee in-house sales and help execute effective lead generation and marketing plans that boost brand awareness and membership sign-ups
Achieve sales budgets
Coordinate engaging pre-sale events and marketing initiatives
Develop and manage the performance of club employees
Hire and train new staff, helping them reach their full potential
Meet performance metrics related to revenue, ordering, inventory, cost controls and facilities maintenance
Implement corporate policies and business practices
Ensure top-notch customer service and operational excellence
Keep the club clean, safe, and well-maintained
About You
You have a genuine passion for health and fitness and a track record of effective management
Previous management experience
Ability to motivate and guide a team
Strong leadership qualities
Proficiency in overseeing staff management and development
Solid understanding of sales and operational success
Exceptional multitasking and organisational abilities
Positive and motivating communication style
Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Excel, Word)
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Available to work weekdays (9am–7pm) and Saturdays
Motivated to grow in a development role, with the aim of stepping into a future Club Manager position
