Job Overview:
Based at our modern feedlot in Chinchilla, this paid program offers practical, on-the-ground experience across livestock management, feed milling, maintenance, and administration.
You'll be mentored by experienced supervisors and managers and supported to grow your skills and confidence across all aspects of the operation.
What You'll Experience:
You'll rotate through four key operational areas:
Q2: Mill Operations –feed production, feeding programs, quality control, machinery use.
Q3: Maintenance – preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, safety procedures.
Q4: Administration – office operations, finance support, compliance, and HR.
We understand that flexibility is important, so we're happy to work with you to tailor the rotation schedule to suit your interests and development goals.
Program highlights include:
Comprehensive induction and early exposure to all operational areas.
A day at our processing plant to understand the full supply chain.
Practical project work and development reflections.
You'll have a permanent role waiting for you at Stanbroke when you successfully complete the program.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for an enthusiastic graduate who is keen to build a rewarding career in the feedlot and beef industry.
A degree in agriculture, animal science, agribusiness or a related field.
A genuine interest in livestock and feedlot operations.
A hands-on, can-do attitude and a team-focused mindset.
Willingness to learn, grow, and get involved in all aspects of the business.
An Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of a valid permanent work visa.
