We look to hire the best and then help you to become even better.We are seeking a talented Heavy Diesel Field Service Technician to join our Laverton branch, primarily supporting our Rail team with repairs and maintenance, while also assisting across our On-Highway and Power Generation departments.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call rosterDiagnose and repair enginesInspect and replace components as requiredEngine rebuilding and reconditioningRESPONSIBILITIESTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic (to Australian standards)Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of rail heavy diesel products and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)Valid Australian Driver's license requiredAt Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
