Principal Programs Officer

**Your Key Accountabilities will include**: - Drive and implement the Service's strategic agenda in relation to child abuse and exploitation, and implement key recommendations from the Women's Safety and Justice Taskforce. Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance QPS business improvement, including child abuse and sexual violence matters. Provide expert advice, support and guidance to leadership teams, stakeholder groups and program and project teams in support of deliverables. Lead and manage assigned program and project activities using contemporary program and project management and related frameworks, methodologies, and policies. Provide guidance to stakeholders that facilitates informed business decisions, improves business processes and meets changing business needs. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with members of the QPS and partner agencies to deliver initiatives in accordance with prioritised business objectives. Monitor and evaluate the progress of work deliverables, initiatives and business support priorities. Develop and implement change management and communications initiatives that complement business improvements.
