Project Engineer Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work client-side on significant transport urban development and infrastructure projects.
You will be heavily involved in a major urban development and roads/rail infrastructure project from inception to completion, using your experience to deliver high-level advice, stakeholder management, and problem-solving expertise to all project stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities include:
Scoping and managing major infrastructure projects from inception to handover phase, with a particular focus on water infrastructure projects;
Programming and scheduling of complex projects;
Managing the preparation of tender documentation and post-tender responsibilities;
Coordinating design from concept to delivery;
Consulting with clients, with approval management and project delivery responsibility;
Managing stakeholders; interfacing with relevant consultancies and contractors; and
Holding responsibility for regular project reporting: cost control, budget status, variations and forecasting.
This role requires site-based activity and gives you the opportunity to travel to regional sites to perform these duties.
