**About the role**

This is a newly created, critical strategic role that will create competitive advantage across the group. With future-thinking at the heart of everything we do, this role will have a large focus on driving the strategic direction of the group, with consideration of market changes and emerging trends, to proactively position us for ongoing success across Australia, New Zealand and America.

**Your day to day**
- Collaborate with our senior leadership team to define the strategic choices of each business and create long-term goals
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks to the business; evaluate the competitive landscape and customer insights to inform strategic decision making
- Lead and facilitate change, engaging the business on the adoption of new strategies
- Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities that align to our growth strategy
- Foster collaboration across the group, and champion strategic thinking.

**About you**
- You have demonstrated experience working at a top-tier consulting firms, professional services firm, or within a corporate strategy team
- Exceptional skills in problem solving, thought leadership, strategic assessment and stakeholder management
- A confidence to quickly identify key issues, structure a plan, generate insights and develop strategic options
- Solid understanding of strategic evaluation and financial evaluation techniques
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
