**About the Practice**
Platypus Dental is a young and fresh boutique dental practice in a medical specialist center in the heart of Strathpine QLD. There are 2 dental chairs, with a prospective 3rd dental chairs installed in the future.

We use some of the latest dental technology such as 3D Scanner, AIRFLOW System and... a V10 Dyson vacuum machine, just FYI.

The practice aims to use Australian made products wherever possible and aim to provide a comfortable and affordable dental treatment to everyone. The practice does all general dentistry except for extensive orthodontics but has a focus in oral surgery and full mouth rehabilitation.

**About You**
You will be working along side with the owner/principal dentist and the practice manager to provide a high standard of patient care both in and outside of the surgery room.

The position is a casual position, with **hourly rate of $29/hr **however starting rate may be higher depending on your experience and qualifications.

Need to be available some late nights/ Saturdays and able to cover other staff when on leave/ illness.

**Main duties of work**:
1. Chair-side Assisting

2. Sterilization and Cleaning of All Instruments, Equipment and the surgery

3. Reception work when required (appointment booking & phone calls)

The following qualifications and traits are recommended but not essential:
1. Certificate III

2. Previous Experience as Dental Assisting

3. Good Communication Skills

4. Having Fun.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 28 per week

Schedule:

- Shift work

- Overtime pay
