ESS Defence has the privilege of serving millions of meals to our Defence personnel under our Defence Life brand. Whether it is out in the field, or in dining halls, we provide everything from snacks to buffet style meals, to first class dining experiences for functions. The support we provide is vital in ensuring our personnel thrive during their service. We deliver high quality food coupled with a fantastic customer service experience.

**The Position**:

- Provide Food & Beverage service in a unique environment
- Ensure all company policies and practices are applied, and ensure Food Safety Practices are adhered to
- Work within a team providing exceptional customer service
- Able to change between canteen, buffet style services to formal function service

**The Person**:

- RSA qualified (or willingness to obtain)
- Good communication skills and willingness
- Previous F&B experience beneficial
- Great presentation and customer service skills
- Strong awareness of hygiene & food safety standards

As you will understand, Defence establishments need to be highly secure. This means that all successful applicants are required to undertake national police check which will be paid for by the Company.
