**About the role**

Our **Asset Management** team are a high-performing and innovation-focused team of Maintenance, Reliability and Integrity professionals. We work closely with our clients providing project and operational support across the Mining and Energy Sectors and the many asset types therein.

As a **Maintenance Build Specialist**, you will lead and take ownership of a portfolio of asset management maintenance engineering projects. You will work with existing national clients on operational readiness and asset performance improvement projects and be supported to identify new opportunities and continue our success in generating innovative, fit-for-purpose and cost-effective solutions for our customers. Within this role, you will:

- Work with customers daily, driving project deliverables and identifying new projects.
- Manage customer relationships to ensure needs and expectations are fully satisfied.
- Deliver operational readiness activities, including, maintenance strategy development, spares assessments, CMMS builds, development of operations and maintenance procedures and more.
- Identify new opportunities and work to grow the asset management team.
- Take a key role in reviewing, implementing, and improving asset management systems and processes.
- Develop new or manage existing CMMS Master Data
- Develop project data definition guides and configure project instances accordingly
- Carry out periodic QC to ensure project data quality as per internal quality processes and data definition guidance
- Produce reports and metrics for data elements of assigned projects as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement in all necessary systems, processes and procedures in the delivery of maintenance build projects
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of techniques and best practices appropriate to maintenance and master data management
- Provide mentoring to junior staff engaged in support of data management scopes of work
- Provide training in data management for own and client staff as required

**The Person**

You will ideally have a background in hydrocarbons, manufacturing or mining environments with a proven capability to deliver to project timelines as well as:

- A relevant engineering degree or trade background
- Extensive experience preferably in maintenance and operations, and AM consulting teams
- Proficient in developing and managing one or more CMMS databases (i.e. Oracle, Maximo, SAP, JDE, AMOS)
- Experience with Equipment hierarchy, Bill of Materials and Maintenance Plan development
- Experience preferably in maintenance operations and teams
- Confidence with Root Cause Analysis, FMECA/FMEA and Equipment hierarchy development, facilitating workshops to address any identified reliability issues.
- A high competence and passion for using data to drive projects and reporting
- Demonstrated experience leading teams
- Experienced in delivery, following project, schedule, and budget management principles
- A willingness to travel and undertake site work if required
- Computer Literate with good capability of MS Office suite of programs; Intermediate / Advanced skills in MS Access and/or Power BI is advantageous
- The energy and passion to challenge themselves and the team, innovate and step outside their "comfort zone" do deliver value
- Demonstrated initiative to identify and extend service opportunities with existing customers

While not required immediately for the role, specialised reliability/maintenance engineering certifications are desirable and should already be a goal. Some examples include:

- Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals)
- Certified Practitioner in Asset Management (the Asset Management Council)
- Certified Reliability Engineer (American Society for Quality)
