The large dining space spans inside and out, with a separate lounge and bar area, making Soluna the perfect social hub that will provide a new style of dining to the North Sydney community.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Head Chef, the kitchen attendant will support the kitchen team to ensure back of house areas are maintained at all times, goods are stored safely and in line with Health, Safety & Environment Standards and kitchen equipment and crockery is clean and distributed through the restaurant efficiently.

**Responsibilities**
- clean kitchens and food preparation areas
- clean cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurants such as cutlery or dishes
- wash, peel and chop vegetables or fruit
- transfer, weigh and check supplies and equipment
- prepare ingredients for cooking, and prepare salads, savouries and sandwiches
- set up food and beverage trays for serving to customers
- cook, toast and heat food items as need
- make sure kitchen area is clean and meets hygiene standards.

**Experience and Qualification**
- Prior experience as a Kitchen Attendant advantageous.
