This leading lifestyle apparel company is looking for a Work Health and Safety Officer (WHS Officer) to join the team on a permanent full-time or part-time basis.
Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for reviewing current practices in place, to then be able to design and implement a WHS management system and processes to ensure legislative compliance, as well as drive a culture of safety across the business.
- WHS Governance
- WHS Management, Systems and Reporting
- WHS Education and Training
- Injury Management and Workers Compensation
- experience in a similar role
- experience leading and promoting a safety culture in a diverse environment
- experience in WHS auditing and workers compensation
- experience providing high level WHS advice
- the ability to interpret WHS legislations, policies and procedures
- experience in developing preventive strategies to minimise WHS risks in the workplace
