This role has a strong focus on building effective attraction, selection, and retention strategies, alongside providing expert guidance on employee relations issues, legislative compliance, and workplace policies.This is a true 50/50 role – part recruitment partner, part HR business partner – offering variety and scope to make a genuine impact.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute a strategic recruitment plan, working with key leaders and stakeholders to secure high-performing staffManage recruitment campaigns, initiatives, and pipelines, building strong connections with universities and external partnersOversee onboarding and induction programs to deliver a seamless new starter experienceProvide trusted advice on Awards, industrial agreements, and workplace legislationSupport investigations, performance management processes, and WorkCover/Return-to-Work mattersDrive health, wellbeing, and professional learning initiatives across the organisationContribute to key P&C projects and process improvements to enhance employee engagement and retentionAbout YouWe're seeking a down-to-earth HR professional who can hit the ground running.You'll bring:Proven HR Business Partner or Senior Advisor experience, with strength in recruitment and generalist HR deliveryStrong understanding of industrial relations frameworks, policies, and legislationConfidence in managing performance, investigations, and wellbeing initiativesA collaborative style with warmth and adaptability to thrive in a supportive but fast-paced environmentExperience in education is not essential – what matters is your ability to learn and adapt quicklyThe Team & BenefitsYou'll be joining a growing, supportive People & Culture team consisting of the HR Director, Recruiter and P&C Administrators, with access to external legal advisors and industry networks for complex matters.Alongside a salary of up to $130,000 + Super, you'll enjoy:8+ additional days of annual leaveFlexible work hoursAccess to on-site gym and swimming facilitiesHealth and wellbeing activitiesProfessional learning and career development opportunitiesSalary packaging options50% discount on tuition fees for employees with children enrolledSocial club eventsIf you are confident that your experience reflects the criteria outlined, please apply online to the attention of Ellie Stock referencing Job.
