Mid Murray Support Service Inc. is a Community Not-For-Profit Organisation operating for over 30 years within our Mid Murray Region. It is predominantly funded by its own Social Enterprise, "Scrooges Country Treasures," and State and Federal Funding. We provide in-home and community services to vulnerable people and, in general, those doing it tough.

Due to recent growth and demand within the Mid Murray Region, we are currently looking for a number of disability support workers, aged care workers, cleaners and gardeners who have the commitment and drive to give back to their community.

You will need to be reliable, have a can-do attitude, be flexible, and be attentive to detail. A current unrestricted driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle are also requirements of the job.

**About the Role**

This position is about having the responsibility and respect to assist our clients remain as independent as possible. For clients of all ages, and including those with disabilities, we cook, clean, provide home and garden maintenance, attend to their personal care, and provide individual and group social support.

Whilst maintaining your duty of care and privacy and confidentiality, we expect that you will always put our clients first.

**Requirements of the Position**

Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged or Disability)

Current Police Clearance, DHS Working with Children and DHS Disability Screening (or NDIS Worker Screening)

Current First Aid Certificate, CPR and Manual Handling

Current Immunisation Certification including Flu and COVID 19 vaccination including all boosters

Current Unrestricted Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle

A positive attitude

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $29.05 - $42.75 per hour
