**About the Centre/Service**

Balcombe Preschool is located on Boon Wurrung Country in Mt Martha. Set in a beautiful, natural bush environment, we are run by a supportive volunteer Committee of Management with a team of 8 dedicated staff. We offer two 4 year old groups of 30 children and one 3 year old group of 22 children. Having received an Exceeding Rating for our past three A & R's, we pride ourselves in providing a welcoming environment to our families whilst delivering a quality educational program, catering for individual needs using the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework.

**Description**

**_Balcombe Preschool is looking for a well organised, enthusiastic and nurturing Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team. The role is to implement our 3-year-old group on a Friday commencing Term 1 2026. The 5 hour session with 22 children will run from 8.15am-1.15pm, with a total of 8 hours allocated, including some flexibility for planning time. This position is for the 2026 preschool year, with the possibility of continuing in 2027, depending upon our 3 year old enrolment numbers and timetabling. The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a supportive team environment is essential._**

**Qualifications**

**_Qualifications_**
- **_Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (ACECQA approved qualification)_**:

- **_Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) card_**:

- **_Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training_**:

- **_Extensive knowledge and understanding of the VEYLDF, EYLF, NQS and the planning cycle_**:

- **_Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting and other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector_**:
