We pride ourselves in delivering outstanding and innovative commercial, residential and renovation projects to all our clients.Jett Building and Construction is now seeking to fill a Senior Management Position: Business Manager - Building and Construction to lead the business as it continues to expand, including management of major project delivery within the Central Queensland region.Key Responsibilities:Effectively managing resources to ensure achievement of project scheduleEngage, direct, and lead a team of experienced Civil and Construction personnelManagement of sub-contractorsAccountability of HSE standards, Policies, and ProcessesIdentify, monitor and develop high levels of compliance and quality assuranceOversee plans and specifications of the work set out in the contractDevelop scopes of work, detailed cost estimates, budgets, contract bids, shop drawings and deliverable schedules relative to tender packageOversee cost management, scheduling, profit and loss, labour management, invoice approval, billing, collections, inspections, close-outs and client relationsClose out projects on time and on budget, and meet or exceed client expectationsRequired Attributes and Experience:Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements and driving operational efficienciesAble to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external partiesHighly motivated and client-focusedMinimum five (5) years' experience as a Construction ManagerProven leadership skillsStrong knowledge and extensive experience in building & constructionExcellent verbal, written communication and analytical skillsPassionate about motivating and engaging others as you lead your teamUnderstand the requirements and ensure compliance with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 (QBCC Act).
