Advoc8 is transforming the way government facing teams navigate the political landscape.Following the launch of Pulse , our innovative political monitoring tool, we're growing fast - and we're looking for a Research and Data Lead to help power the political insights our customers rely on daily.In this role, you'll lead the development and maintenance of our political datasets, manage the systems that keep them accurate and up to date, and work across teams to ensure our data is of the highest quality and relevance.
You'll report to our Product Manager and collaborate closely with customer-facing and engineering teams to deliver exceptional political intelligence.If you're politically savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about making data meaningful, this one's for you.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of our data roadmap, ensuring data quality and integrity across the platformProactively source and manage contact data, including MPs, advisers and public servantsDesign and maintain structured processes for updating and enriching our datasetsWork with our Product and Engineering teams to integrate political data into platform featuresIdentify gaps in coverage and drive continuous improvements in accuracy and scopeSupport ad hoc research and analysis to help internal stakeholdersManage and mentor junior data support rolesDesired Skills and ExperienceExperience in politics, public policy, data or a related fieldExcellent research and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to solving problemsFamiliarity with spreadsheets and structured dataHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsExperience managing projects or contributing to project deliveryUnderstanding of Australian political systems, Parliament, and public service structuresExperience managing data workflows or content pipelines highly regardedHours and payThis is a part-time, 3 day per week role with the opportunity to go full-time for the right person.
