**The Position**

**Position Title**: Team Leader Aboriginal Services
**Classification**: Community Development Worker Class 3
**Salary per hour (exc. super)**: $44.67 to $48.98
**Hours per fortnight**: 76
**Employment Status**: Permanent Full Time

**Role Description**

As part of the Management Team, the Team Leader provides leadership, direction and support to the Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officer (AHLO) team, to facilitate and coordinate the delivery of high quality, culturally appropriate support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in a timely and responsive manner.

**The Team**

The Community and Public Health Services Division has a primary focus on improving the health outcomes of the communities in our region. With a range of local and regional programs supporting place-based health promotion, prevention, care and support, they work collaboratively with other Divisions and regional partnerships and networks to support quality outcomes. The Division has a strong leadership role in the Loddon Mallee Region and is committed to ensuring processes are in place to deliver on our Division.
