**The essential requirements for this role are:

- Knowledge and understanding of the intelligence discipline on matters which affect the supervision of offenders on community-based orders
- Experience in a criminal justice environment or similar human services/regulatory agency
- Experience working with sensitive information will be highly regarded
- Superior capability in the use of information management systems will be highly regarded
- Ability to investigate matters and conduct research and knowledge of the principles of crime scene management
- Knowledge of intelligence processes and products
- Preparation of complex reports and submissions
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Good interviewing techniques

Qualifications, professional registration, conditions and other requirements
- Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications for this position, nationally recognised training or tertiary qualifications in a relevant field would be highly
desirable.
- The incumbent may be required to travel on official business; therefore, the possession of a valid C class licence is required.

Applicant will be required to work across multiple locations within South Coast Region including Beenleigh, Burleigh Heads, Logan City and Southport.

Whilst Queensland Corrective Services offers an employee assistance program for our employees and their immediate family, prospective employees should consider their own personal resilience and consider what coping strategies they may need in a position with QCS Community Corrections.

A suitability pool may be created and utilised for recurring vacancies within the region for a period of up to 12 months.
