**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an Events and Venue Officer to join their team in Mount Annan. This is an estimated 2-months temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to plan and coordinate easy venue and site hire for filming & photography, events, weddings, sport and activations held at the Botanic Gardens and/or the Calyx in order to provide memorable and positive connections with the Gardens, whilst delivering quality customer services to community, industry and stakeholder groups to support the achievement of revenue targets and corporate objectives.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver professional frontline customer service
- Schedule and coordinate bookings
- Facilitate the resolution of complaints and booking clashes
- Educate customers on the terms and conditions, responsibilities and obligations for use of hire
- Support for logístical requirements including site maps, security, delivery management, traffic management and parking
- Creation of internal resources to support effective service delivery
- Processing bond refunds and invoicing major event ticketing allocations
- Provide support to major events across the organisation
- Records and database management ensuring confidentiality, integrity and accuracy
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships facilitating collaboration, participation, engagement and contribution of idea's
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislation

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience utilising a booking management system
- Proven experience coordinating outdoor venue and leisure facilities bookings
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional, resilient and adaptable
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Superior organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Takes initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work outside of normal working hours and on weekends if required
- Current driver's licence
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or Medical exemption
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
