About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing impactful open source projects, collaborating with globally distributed teams, mentoring colleagues, and displaying technical leadership.
Key responsibilities include leading design and architecture of open source projects, coding in various programming languages, debugging issues, producing high-quality code, contributing to technical documentation, and working from home with global travel for company events.
This is a general track for Senior+ Engineers in any team. After the first round of interviews, we will establish which teams might be an excellent fit and progress your application with them.
Main Responsibilities
Design and implement impactful open source projects
Collaborate with globally distributed teams
Mentor colleagues
Display technical leadership
Lead design and architecture of open source projects
Coding in various programming languages
Debugging issues
Producing high-quality code
Contributing to technical documentation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
An exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path
Drive and a track record of going above-and-beyond expectations
Technical leadership as well as team motivation, direction, and pace
Deep experience with at least one of Go, Rust, Python, or C
Conscientiousness and detail orientation, with a focus on performance
Excellent communication skills including professional written and spoken English
Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
