Description
Applications are invited for the position of Construction Team Leader, based at Council's Inverell Works Centre. The successful applicant shall be an in-field working supervisor responsible for the management and control of the Construction Unit and some maintenance programs.

Essential Criteria
Applicants should address the following Selection Criteria:
Qualifications
NSW School Certificate/ Record of School Achievement or equivalent;
Successful completion of an approved course for supervisors OR Suitable experience;
NSW Class C Drivers Licence or equivalent;
SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Card (TCP); and
SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('Whiter Card')
Skills And Experience
Knowledge of roadwork techniques and quality control requirements; and
Knowledge of structural practices
Desirable Criteria
Qualifications
First Aid Certificate;
SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Card (IMP); and
Safe Work near Overhead Powerlines Certificate.
Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the
Local Government (State) Award 2023
. The classification for the position will be up to Administrative/ Technical/ Trades Band 2, Level 2, Grade 10. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,349.60 to $1,453.46 gross per week.
