**Social Worker (Grade 1) - Mental Health**
**Intensive Recovery Stream (working across Mental Health Inpatient settings)**
**80 hours per fortnight, including monthly ADO**

**Up to $20,000 incentive payments may be available to support relocation**

(Be reimbursed for rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more). The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill.
The new workforce relocation and incentive grants program is being administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).

**About the role**

An exciting opportunity exists for an early career Social Worker to join Grampians Mental Health and Wellbeing Service in the Intensive Recovery stream. Working within the broader team that includes other Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses, Consultant Psychiatrists, and Lived and Living Experience Workforce, the Grade 1 Social Worker will assist clients to navigate an important part of their recovery journey.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting with comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments.
- Assisting with Care Planning and coordination of care.
- Recovery-orientated activities to enhance opportunities for the person's recovery from mental health problems.

**Skills and experience**
- Understanding of the bio-psycho-social model and techniques for assessment and intervention.
- Be culturally responsive and inclusive.
- Strong advocacy and stakeholder liaison skills.
