A rewarding 6-month contract opportunity with a leading government agency seeking an experienced Management Accountant.About the Role:This leading government department is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant for an immediate start on a 6-month contract.
Work closely with project managers, business leads, and finance teams to deliver critical financial insights and support for key IMT services, projects, and initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Develop and validate cost estimates and financial models for IMT services, including resources, MSPs, and software licences.Contribute to financial modelling for new projects and capabilities.Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving efficiency within IMT operations.Support business case development through cost-benefit and ROI analysis.Monitor budgets, forecast expenditures, and report on cost variances.Collaborate with teams to optimise cost structures and resource allocation.What We're Looking For:Proven experience in financial management within project-based environments.Expertise in financial forecasting, cost modelling, and ROI analysis.Strong understanding of budgeting and resource management.Proactive and collaborative problem solver.Public sector experience is highly regarded.Why Apply:This role offers the opportunity to directly influence the department's financial planning and service delivery.
