**A council South of Melbourne is looking for a Landscape Planner to join their team for 3 months.**
- 3 month contract
- Hourly rate depending on experience
- Hybrid working
- Must be able to hit the ground running

**Key Responsibilities**
- Evaluate, review and approve subdivision landscape plans for conformity with Council policies, guidelines and requirements, regarding quality design outcomes, construction standards and plant species suitability
- Review sub division landscape plans checking submissions conform to approved landscape masterplan.
- Review construction issue landscape plans commenting and approving design and construction in accordance with industry best practice and relevant Australian standards.
- Evaluate landscape street scape plan submissions for species suitability, green infrastructure, tree setout
- Work with developers and landscape architects and other design and construction consultants on landscape plan submissions
- Contribute to the review of internal landscaping polices as well as other policies requiring a landscaping input
- Contribute to the Landscape Design Team responses regarding Development Plans, Master Plans, Structure Plans, Precinct Structure Plans and Planning Referrals.
- Evaluate and provide advice on landscape planning referrals.
- Process enquiries and discuss or explain landscaping matters with professional and non-professional individuals and groups.
- Provide advice and assistance to Planning Investigation officers in compliance and enforcement of landscape related matters.
