OverviewJoin to apply for the Trade Counter Sales role at Bendigo Advertiser.
This is a Monday to Friday, store-based position within our Trade team.
You will have previous sales experience using POS and cash handling.
Your ability to build strong relationships with customers within the residential building industry will see you succeed in this dynamic role, having a passion for outstanding customer service.
This role will also incorporate kitchen design and sales as well as ordering and merchandising of hardware.What You Will Be DoingDeliver excellent customer service through counter sales, quotes, delivery orders etc.Handle routine and specialist customer queries and complaints in a professional and helpful manner.Stock replenishment, adhering to store retail standards.Picking and packing orders.Designing and selling of kitchens (full training will be provided).
Identify opportunities to increase sales.What You Will BringStrong customer service focus.Ability to clearly communicate to customers via phone and email.Ability to multi task in a dynamic fast paced trade business.Previous experience in a similar Counter sales / Trade Sales position.An understanding of the Timber & Hardware market with previous experience is desirable but not essential.Ability to work closely in a diverse team.About UsFor over 50 years Mitre 10 has been the local and independent hardware store to thousands of Australians.
