**About the role**
**Main tasks**: The primary focus in this role will be to lead the electronics and IoT team of six staff. You'll be able to use your experience in staff management and have hands-on involvement with various projects.

**Other tasks**:

- **Manage** projects to ensure that timelines and budgets are met
- **Oversee** the laboratory management
- **Develop** specifications for new products, plus also modifications and improvements
- **Create** product testing procedures
- **Contribute** to schematics and PCB layouts for new product developments
- **Support** production teams with technical assistance
- **Produce** product testing procedures
- **Work** on the construction and management of production test equipment
- **Supervise** the sourcing of special components and product reliability improvement

- Experience leading a team in an R&D-related field
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Knowledge in specification & product development, plus project & laboratory management
