Coordinator
on a
full-time basis, 38 hours per week
to join our team at
YMCA Gabbinbar Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service
located in Centenary Heights.
About The Role
In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators. You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.
As The OSHC Coordinator You Will Be Responsible For
The development of quality programs
Manage the day-to-day running of the programs
Coordinate staffing and rostering
Ensure compliance with policy
Undertake administrative requirements
Work collaboratively with families and the school community
As The OSHC Coordinator
Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services)
Sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare
Thrive in delivering excellent customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain them
Current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain one

YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland. We are the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.
About Your Workplace At The Y
YMCA Gabbinbar Outside School Hours Care is based at Gabbinbar State School in Centenary Heights and welcomes all families of the Gabbinbar community. YMCA Gabbinbar OSHC is licensed for 100 children daily and operates from 6.30am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday during school terms and Vacation Care operate from 6.30am to 6.00pm during all school holidays. YMCA Gabbinbar OSHC offers a wide range of fun, stimulating and appropriate programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings. This helps encourage a sense of community amongst the children, facilitates leadership skill development and allows your child to practice social skills in a supported and caring environment. Programs and activities are aligned with the YMCA Mission – to provide opportunities for children to grow in body, mind and spirit - underpinned by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility.
