- Two shift available - 11am to 8pm or 2pm to 11pm Monday to Friday

Our client, which is a household brand that is known to households right across Australia, is searching for 2
**Poultry Production Supervisors** to join their organisation and work in their Primary Processing operations located in the
**Northern Suburbs of South Australia.**

The purpose of these positions is to Supervise daily shifts to ensure operational efficiencies are met and are at a high standard. You will be the first point of contact for workers to raise any issues or concerns regarding their role. You will also be required to communicate any operational performance gains or challenges to the Production Manager daily.

**There are 2 positions on offer with varying start finish times**:

**11am to 8pm Monday to Friday**

**or**

**2pm to 11pm Monday to Friday**

**Each position entails (but not limited to)**
- Supervise and manage daily general tasks
- Safety and ergonomics checks are in place
- Daily management of staff members including team leaders, leading hands, process workers
- Inspect machinery and process control in place
- Understand policies and procedures of the operations
- Ensuring that a high standard of work is being performed at all times
- Continuous inspections of PPE used daily
- Understand labour requirements for the facility
- Overlook costs and assets associated with stock control
- Ensuring the production is running smooth and effective with prioritized time management
- Safety reports/administrative/budgeting reports are all in compliance with protocols in place

**Your background**:

- Previous experience in a FMCG management/supervisor role(minimum 3 years)
- Strong industry knowledge/poultry background is highly desirable
- Relevant qualifications in Food Science/Management/Plant Product are preferred
- Able and comfortable to work in an environment with Chickens
- Able to lead and manage a team environment effectively
- Confident with decision making/ability to act quickly to resolve any issue
- Strong attention to detail
