Investment Governance Manager

About the RoleOur client is an ASX-listed business that has grown substantially and is seeking a highly skilled Investment Governance Manager to join its dynamic team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring robust investment governance across multiple superannuation entities, aligned with APRA's prudential standards, particularly SPS 530.The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the investment governance framework, assessing new investment options, conducting due diligence on service providers, and supporting product development initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct annual reviews of investment strategies and perform stress testing in line with SPS 530;Work closely with the Head of Investment Oversight to provide independent risk oversight during transformation initiatives;Provide expert advice and challenge first-line activities to ensure alignment with regulatory and internal standards;Conduct Line 2 assurance reviews and undertake risk assessment activities related to investment governance;Monitor compliance with APRA and ASIC requirements as the investment function evolves;Review investment research processes, managed account structures, and governance frameworks;Assess risks related to managed accounts, investment products, and strategic initiatives; ANDDrive continuous improvement of governance frameworks and contribute to thought leadership.Key RequirementsMinimum 5 years' experience in risk management, compliance, or investment governance;Proven Line 2 risk and compliance experience in financial services;Strong understanding of investment governance, managed accounts, and platform environments;Sound knowledge of APRA, ASIC, and OAIC regulatory requirements;Proficiency with risk management systems and regulatory reporting tools; ANDExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Selene Madsen ******
