We're Hiring: Lead Educator - Toddler Group

Location: Bundamba

Employment Type: Full-Time

Start Date: August/September

About the Role

As our Lead Educator, you'll be the guiding light for a small group of curious toddlers, fostering their development through play-based learning, emotional support, and meaningful routines. You'll work closely with a team of educators to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child thrives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Work together with assistant educators within the toddler room
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community
- Maintain compliance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Document children's learning and development through observations and portfolios
- Ensure a safe, hygienic, and emotionally supportive environment

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
- Strong understanding of child development and the EYLF
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A warm, energetic, and professional approach to working with young children

Pay: $33.12 - $34.13 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Retention bonus

**Experience**:

- Diploma: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

- Australia (required)
