**Introduction**:
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter & Turner to join us as a key member of our talented team. This role includes general Fitting/Machining duties with an emphasis on building precision, custom built, automation solutions for our clients. We work collaboratively across the business to create uniquely customised solutions.

Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for general fitting and machining duties across Propac products. You will demonstrate a high degree of independence in these duties, solving problems on your own initiative but seeking your manager's advice and keeping them informed where necessary. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, welding, commission and installation, and servicing.

**Description**:

- Trade qualification - Mechanical Fitter / Fitter and Turner
- The ability to work and communicate in a team environment
- A commitment to seeing a job through to a successful outcome
- Manual milling and lathe operation
- Experience with mechanical, pneumatic and electrical assembly work would be advantageous
- Problem solver, with the ability to communicate effectively and present practical solutions
- Safety focussed, adhering to safe and correct procedures at all times
- A collaborative and supportive team player
