Teach children key water safety messages without getting in the water

Applications are now open for passionate individuals to educate participants in LSV's Lifesaving Education programs.

Life Saving Victoria's (LSV) school-based education programs ensure Victorian children are taught the importance of water safety in a fun and interactive way.

Our vision: All Victorians will enjoy our aquatic environment after learning water safety, swimming, and resuscitation. Our education programs play a vital part in keeping our community safe.

During our program children will learn:

- LSV's key water safety messages
- Learning how to be prepared before visiting aquatic environments
- How to be safe in any aquatic environment
- How to call for help and save a life

Programs are delivered across metro Melbourne (Sorrento - Geelong) classrooms with flexibility for you to work preferred locations, shift times and days to fit in with other commitments (work, study, club duties, family, etc.). Opportunities also exist to travel regional Victoria delivering programs.

Shifts are available predominantly during school hours from October to December (Term 3 & 4) and February to May (Term 1 & 2).

Please note: The following qualifications must be obtained before you can begin your first shift.

Required Qualifications (or willing to obtain) for Education Program Leader:

- Provide First Aid and Current CPR
- Employee' Working with Children Check
- Drivers Licence

Lifesaving experience is not necessary to terach our programs as we have a great training program and will ensure you are equipped with all the knowledge you need.
