Programa is a fast-growing venture-backed startup building the operating system for the design industry.
Founded in 2020 out of Melbourne, Australia, our platform is purpose-built for interior designers and architects, replacing spreadsheets, PDFs, platform-switching, and scattered approvals with live tools that support every stage of a project.Working across two verticals, Programa bridges designers and project stakeholders to centralise the entire conversation around design delivery.
Studios use it to manage specifications, schedules, project tasks, and client communication - all in one place.
It's how the design industry moves faster, with more clarity and less chaos.We're looking for a high-impact Head of Finance to lead Programa's financial strategy and operations as we scale across Australia, the U.S., and beyond.
This is a unique opportunity for someone ready to grow into a future CFO - bringing the commercial acumen, strategic clarity, and systems thinking needed to multiply our impact.This role goes beyond reporting and compliance.
You'll partner with the CEO, Executive Team, and Board to shape how capital is deployed, how growth bets are made, and how we build financial infrastructure that supports high-velocity, high-quality decisions across the company.ResponsibilitiesOwn the company's financial strategy, including being accountable for turning capital into strategic advantagePartner with the CEO and exec team on capital allocation, pricing, monetisation strategy, and scenario planningLead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and statutory reporting with rigour and speedDesign and scale planning and decision-making infrastructure that enables smarter, faster betsPrepare investor and Board reporting that clearly communicates performance, risk, and opportunitiesDrive implementation of scalable systems, automation and controls to support global growthProvide embedded support across GTM, product, and company planning, shaping how we invest in growthEvaluate strategic opportunities including new markets, pricing models, partnerships, and M&AAs we grow, build and lead a high-performing finance function that is proactive, curious, and commercially mindedMaintain compliance with tax, audit and regulatory requirements across jurisdictionsExperience10+ years of experience in finance roles, ideally within high-growth SaaS or tech companies3+ years in a senior finance leadership role (eg.
