As the sector continues to grow and evolve, the business is seeking a Head of Finance to lead and strengthen its financial function.This is a full time permanent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a leadership role with significant influence.
As Head of Finance, you will take ownership of all financial operations, governance, and reporting, while also supporting the organisation's long term growth and strategic objectives.Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will ensure financial compliance, develop robust processes, and provide commercial insights that support decision making.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys leading teams, driving improvement, and balancing technical rigour with a collaborative, hands on approach.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the finance function including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month end closeDeliver accurate and timely financial reporting to the board and senior leadership teamOversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support business planningEnsure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations relevant to the aged care sectorStrengthen systems, processes, and controls to improve efficiency and scalabilityPartner with operational leaders to provide insights that influence decision makingManage external relationships with auditors, accountants, and advisorsFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance teamSkills and experienceCA or CPA qualified with strong technical accounting expertiseProven experience in a Finance Manager or Head of Finance roleBackground in services, health, or other regulated industries will be highly regardedStrong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and modellingProficiency with ERP systems and financial processes, with ability to streamline and improveExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the organisationHands on and proactive approach with a track record of driving improvementCollaborative and values driven, with a commitment to building strong team cultureWhat's on offerFull time permanent leadership role in a growing aged care service providerBroad scope and hands on responsibility with genuine influenceOpportunity to shape and modernise the finance function during a period of growthCollaborative and supportive culture with strong values at its coreCompetitive salary package with long term career prospectsUnlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
