Customer Interface
We have an opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join our Supply Chain & Logistics team based at Pinkenba.
This role will see you work within the Customer Interface Team (CIT) which is at the heart of our logistics team and fundamental to ensuring we deliver on customer requirements.
You will be the first point of contact with customers as they place orders and enquire about their account activity and resolve general business.
CIT is our customer service hub. It's a very busy team; it can be very loud; but there's lots of laughs. This a great role for you if you're fast paced, resilient, have great attention to detail and the sass to deal with batch plant operators, under the pump allocators and logistics managers in a friendly productive manner (read - colourful builders language and people under intense pressure due to misread delivery windows, incorrect ordering, delays and now the concrete job is ruined)
It's a switched on customer service role - you need to be able to think broadly, not set and forget. The team has great people of all ages. They all work hard and they're passionate and dynamic - we're looking for more of the same.
**About the role**:
- Ensure a seamless high standard of service to our customers
- Investigate, resolve and respond to customer queries in a timely manner
- Provide proactive communication regarding deliveries and transportation issues
- Build long lasting relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders through your provision of friendly and dedicated customer service
- Support other business areas with queries regarding product availability and invoicing
**Roster/Hours of Work**

- Tuesday to Friday 8.45am to 5pm
- Saturday 6am to 1.00pm
**_There is an alternate roster available working the following hours: _**
Roster/Hours of Work
- Monday 9am-5pm
- Tuesday to Friday 8am-4pm
- Participate in Saturday roster coverage - approximately 1 shift every 9 weeks
**About you**:
- You thrive in a high volume order processing environment and can maintain resilience
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills
- You love to learn and pick up new things quickly and easily
- You are able to maintain and develop customer relationships
- You have a strong eye for detail, even when processing orders on a busy day
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel
- Ideally, you will have experience within the transport / logistics industry
