Customer Interface Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Customer Interface Officer.

  • The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, handling queries and orders promptly and accurately.
  • They will investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaising with other departments will ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Accurate completion of all reporting requirements is essential.
  • The role involves proactively promoting new and existing products and services to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient processing of customer orders is crucial.
  • Effective communication is key to resolving customer queries.
  • Liaising with internal teams ensures customer needs are met.
  • Reporting on customer activity and sales performance is important.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key customers is vital.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing position is required.
  • Strong administration skills and ability to multitask are essential.
  • Experience with SAP and Lotus Notes is desirable.
  • Transport and/or logistics industry experience is highly regarded.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • General business knowledge is required.
