We are seeking a talented individual to join our **HONAN** team at **Marsh**. This role will be based in **Sydney**. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a **Claims Executive** at **Marsh**, you will be responsible for delivering superior claims service, determining proper policy coverage, and managing a portfolio of Strata claims. You will play a crucial role in investigating, evaluating, and negotiating assigned cases while ensuring quality customer service.
**We will count on you to**:
- ** Collaborate and Partner for Client Value**: Establish and maintain strong relationships with claimants, repairers, assessors, and other stakeholders; identify suspicious claims and coordinate investigations; provide insights on claims activity to underwriters.
- ** Inspire with Operational Excellence**: Interpret policy coverage, ensure compliance with statutory guidelines, respond to inquiries within service-level agreements, and maintain professional correspondence with stakeholders.
- ** Satisfy and Reach with New Technologies**: Maintain knowledge of products and processes, attend relevant training, and contribute to process improvements.
- ** Share Knowledge through Data and Analytics**: Provide timely updates to clients on claims progress, set reserves, negotiate settlements, and assist in preparing files for legal proceedings.
**What you need to have**:
- Broad knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processes
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills and customer focus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with advanced attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- 1-2 years of experience in insurance
- Experience working within SLA timeframes
- Tertiary legal qualifications are highly desirable
