**Children's Pastor (Part-Time) - Austral-Asian Christian Church, Adelaide**

**About Us**

Austral-Asian Christian Church (AACC) is an independent, multicultural church in Adelaide, South Australia. With approximately 400 members across Cantonese, Mandarin, and English congregations, AACC has a growing and vibrant children's ministry. Our primary program, Awana, serves around 100 children weekly, supported by over 30 dedicated volunteers.

We are seeking a passionate and committed Children's Pastor to shepherd and disciple our children while equipping volunteers to minister effectively.

**Position Details**
- Job Type: Part-time (1-2 days per week, negotiable)
- Location: Austral-Asian Christian Church, Adelaide, SA
- Reports to: Senior Pastor
- Salary: Part-time (0.4 FTE): Up to $24,855.95 per annum (based on qualifications and experience)
- Start Date: Negotiable

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide biblical teaching and spiritual guidance to children under 12 years old.
- Lead and oversee children's ministry programs, with a primary focus on Awana.
- Partner with parents to support their children's spiritual development.
- Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers for children's ministry.
- Plan and coordinate weekly children's programs and special events.
- Ensure compliance with child safety policies and South Australian regulations.

**Key Qualifications & Experience**
- A strong, growing Christian faith with a passion for children's ministry.
- Experience in children's and youth ministry (volunteer or paid position).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural church environment.
- Proficiency in English (as the ministry is conducted in English).
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) and police clearance.
- A bachelor's degree in Christian Theology (or equivalent) is desirable.
