We are seeking a Personal Care and Activities Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centered care for our residents and community clients.
This role combines personal care with meaningful activity support, helping customers with their daily living needs, social engagement, and overall wellbeing.It's perfect for someone with empathy, patience, and creativity who enjoys making a positive difference in people's lives every day.
This role is based in our facility in Morely and is a permanent-part time role working 30 hours per fortnight.Key Responsibilities:Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meal assistanceSupport residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activitiesFacilitate engaging group and one-on-one activities tailored to customer interests and abilitiesAssist with transport and mobility to and from activities (if required)Monitor and report any changes in health, wellbeing, or behaviour to clinical staffMaintain accurate documentation and care/activity recordsPromote dignity, independence, and respect in all interactionsWork collaboratively with the care team, families, and allied health professionalsKey Requirements:Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community) or equivalent qualificationCurrent First Aid & CPR certificateManual handling and infection control trainingStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including with people living with dementiaExperience providing personal care in aged care, disability, or community settingsAbility to plan, deliver, and adapt activities to support physical, social, and emotional wellbeingCompassion, patience, and cultural sensitivityWhat's on offer: Attractive remuneration $34.11-$35.19 per hourper hour, plus 12% superannuationSalary packaging up to $18,550 per annum tax freeNon-profit values driven Western Australian aged care providerAll employees have access to Juniperks an online platform that unlocks exclusive retail discounts, employee perks, wellness initiatives and peer acknowledgementHealth Insurance discountsHow to Apply:Don't miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role
