About this role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to provide person-centered care for our residents and community clients. This role combines personal care with meaningful activity support, helping customers with their daily living needs, social engagement, and overall wellbeing.

It's perfect for someone who enjoys making a positive difference in people's lives every day.

This is a permanent-part time position based at our Chrystal Halliday facility in Karrinyup.

22.5 hours per week: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The ideal candidate will have empathy, patience, and creativity, and be able to work collaboratively with the care team, families, and allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meal assistance
  • Support residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities
  • Facilitate engaging group and one-on-one activities tailored to customer interests and abilities
  • Assist with transport and mobility to and from activities (if required)
  • Monitor and report any changes in health, wellbeing, or behaviour to clinical staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and care/activity records
  • Promote dignity, independence, and respect in all interactions
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community) or equivalent qualification
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Manual handling and infection control training
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including with people living with dementia
  • Experience providing personal care in aged care, disability, or community settings
