About the Role
The courier will also be called upon to make deliveries to any area within Logan Hospital where the service can assist with the efficient running of the department. This support is required to be of a consistently high standard of confidential, accurate and timely assistance to clients and staff within the Health Service District.
- Maintain collection and delivery of drugs to designated wards and departments of Logan Hospital.
- Maintain a daily electronic record (ScripTraker) of all prescriptions (inpatient and discharge prescriptions) that are received and delivered by pharmacy staff.
- Ability and flexibility to provide support for a seven-day roster environment including public holidays and cover staff for recreation and sick leave etc over core business hours as per the award.
- Undertake duties to ensure appropriate handling and recycling of drugs returned to the pharmacy and ensure that correct entries are made onto the discharge record form.
