**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a Permanent position working on a **8 day fortnight (40 hours week) roster**- **DIDO** to our **Boddington Mine**, located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour). **Please note there is no Camp or Accommodation provided this role is offered DIDO only.**

As the** Trainer Assessor** your role is to partner with the assigned business unit to manage effective learning and development outcomes for employees and contractors. Develop, deliver and continuously improve a leading-edge training program tailored for Worsley employees to enable them to reach their full potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Represent the Worsley Training Department and act as a local SME (Subject Matter Expert) for allocated work areas and/or assigned activities in relation to the Worsley Training Scheme.
- Participate as an active member of the Worsley Trainer / Assessor consultative group and contribute constructively to all forums to align and maintain clear standards, systems, processes and practices.
- Contribute to ensuring records management, governance and compliance audits are completed regularly and actions to improve are recorded and closed out in Global 360.
- Coach and mentor operators and coaches in the delivery and assessment of line led training
- Provide coaching to enable employees to confidently complete on-line training programs.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Desired competencies may include one or more of the below:

- Mobile Equipment
- Boddington Bauxite Mine Fixed Plant operations
- HRW licenses
- WAPL Clearance to Work
- Document control
- Demonstrated face-to-face training delivery skills or similar group based public speaking
- Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or ability to undertake).
- Prior experience working within a similar role in a mining/refining environment desired
