·Join a team of exceptional, mission-lead professionals· Providing essential services to WA families· Make your mark in an organisation with a clear purposeRonald McDonald House Charities Western Australia is a unique and special place of joy, laughter, learning and community brought together by the bravest of children.For over 30 years, Ronald McDonald House Charities has helped Western Australian families with sick kids stay together, and close to the medical care they need.We are a global charity which provides programs and services for children and their families that positively impact their health and wellbeing within WA maternity, child and adolescent health systems.The RoleThe Community Events Fundraising Executive will lead the peer-to-peer fundraising marketing campaigns for Up All Night and Ride For Sick Kids with support of the broader Community Engagement Team.This role implements fundraising and digital marketing initiatives to support community engagement and fundraising event objectives, as well as facilitating social media community management and social media content creation for fundraising events.Skills RequiredRequired:Degree in marketing, fundraising, communications, public relations, journalism, or equivalent practical experience minimum of 3 years.
Excellent written and verbal communication; Excellent project management skills.
Meta Certified Community Manager.Desirable:Funraisin, Canva experience, Asana, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite training with the ability to create graphics, videos and edit photos.The ideal candidate will have Experience in:Peer-to-peer fundraising experience, social media community management, creation and curation of social media content; project management skills, high attention to detail, ability to use initiative, take direct and work with a minimal supervision, problem solver, high productivity and able to meet deadlines.
Strong Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills; Experience with using Content Management Systems.Important to know:·17.5% leave loading·You can have an extra day's Birthday leave each year
