Job Description
Our Pact Packaging division is pioneering a whole of product life cycle approach to sustainable packaging. Partnering with global brands to producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.
As National Supply Chain Manager, you will have overall responsibility to manage the supply chain function for the VIP Steel division of PACT. This includes Truganina (Vic), Granville (NSW), Hemmant (Qld), Fremantle (WA) and Devonport (Tas).
The key areas of responsibility include Sales & Operation Planning, Production Scheduling, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Lithographic print planning and Labeling planning.
Responsible for a small team and working closely with Operations, Sales, Finance and Technical Managrs, this is a highly visible and vital role responsible for planning, purchasing and new material.
**Your key responsibilities include**:
- Planning and reporting
- Team management
- Customer communication on issues
- Planning of promotional runs
- Litho Planning
- Artwork management and approvals
- Setup of all master data
- Ensuring material availability to subcontractors
- Managing litho printing Subcontractors
- Purchasing of raw materials
- Inventory analysis
- Establish SAP parameters and processes to manage replenishment of WIP
- Setting up new materials across business
- Working with local, international suppliers on supply to order, new product introduction and related quality and delivery performance.
- Regular supply review meetings with key suppliers both local and international
- Customer forecast reviews

- Working background in manufacturing or heavy industrial environment

- Outcome focus with the ability to balance production, safety, and resources
