Why the role
As a growing firm, we are seeking talented professionals to join our Brisbane team.
In this role you will be exposed to a variety of insurance matters with a focus on professional indemnity, with potential to support public liability work.
This role is suitable for an Associate looking to gain experience and progress toward more senior roles within the practice.
Responsibilities
Support the work of the Brisbane team on insurance matters, with a focus on professional indemnity and potential involvement in public liability work.
Progress toward more senior roles within the practice as you develop experience.
Collaborate with colleagues, manage client expectations, and provide practical, client-focused advice.
Qualifications
Around 3+ years' post-admission experience in insurance matters.
Strong knowledge and experience in litigation and insurance law, with exposure to professional indemnity claims involving both coverage and defence.
Ability to manage client expectations, advise on policy and complex issues with a practical and client-focused approach.
Ability to run matters autonomously; clear and concise communication; commercial approach and negotiation skills.
Coaching and mentoring of lawyers; interest in progressing to the next level; team player.
