Looking for a technical search engine marketing lead. Eight week contract available for immediate start.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEM professional to join our team as a SEM Lead on a temporary basis for 8 weeks. In this role, you will collaborate closely with junior SEM specialists, overseeing and optimizing campaigns to ensure they align with our marketing objectives. If you have a minimum of 4-5 years of SEM experience, a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, and hands-on expertise with Google and Microsoft Ads, we want to hear from you

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day activities on Google and Microsoft Ads, including planning, implementation, optimization, and performance review.
- Execute tactics to boost traffic, enhance conversion rates, and maximize campaign efficiencies.
- Effectively manage budgets, ensuring optimal allocation across campaigns and channels.
- Forecast, monitor, and adjust budgets based on performance metrics, sales goals, and seasonality.
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEM strategies aligned with overall marketing goals.
- Design and run experiments to push the boundaries of Paid Search and optimize performance.
- Create compelling ad copy and creative assets through A/B testing for improved click-through and conversion rates.
- Conduct regular keyword research, ensuring full coverage across all brands and categories.
- Leverage business data to achieve key objectives in SEM.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to inform industry trends and identify new opportunities.
- Manage relationships with SEM vendors (Google & Microsoft Ads), ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Report key performance indicators to Marketing and Executive teams on a weekly basis.
- Work closely with various teams, including Finance, Product, Data, Category Management, CRM, Social, and Display, to improve overall performance.
- Stay abreast of industry changes, Google & Microsoft Ads updates, and emerging SEM and digital marketing trends.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior SEM specialists.

**Desirables**:

- Minimum 4-5 years of SEM experience.
- Hands-on experience with Google Adwords and Adwords Editor.
- Experience with Bid Management tools (SA360, Marin, or Kenshoo).
- Experience with product feed and a strong understanding of feed management.
- Experience managing mid/large scale accounts & budgets.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
