This **Full Time Engineering Manager**role would suit someone currently in an Engineering Supervisor role ready to step up to lead a small team of 2. Or if you are already in an Engineering Manager role and would like to join a select lifestyle hotel with responsibility for a team of 2.

**JOB SUMMARY**
- Manage the Day-to-day system operation and maintenance routines of the property
- Oversee all preventative maintenance repairs, feeling empowered to make an impact
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers and like-minded people for equipment and relationship building
- Be a dynamic and thoughtful leader by empowering and supporting your team through general operational tasks
- Actively identify, conduct and manage repairs to the building and equipment
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
- Oversee building & service standards and identify and implement improvement initiatives showcasing your creativity and innovation skills
- Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Engineering department
- Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures whilst demonstrating the Marriott core values

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Previous supervisor experience in general maintenance, property maintenance in hotels, facilities, residential or commercial.
- Understanding or experience working in hotels
- Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
- Hands on maintenance or trade experience
